Excellent place to stay for the night
I stayed here after visiting friends nearby, it was a last minute reservation.
Proprieter kept in contact to find out when I was arriving so that someone would be there to greet me.
The Guest House was easy to find with ample parking.
I slept so well, it's a quiet location. My room was ensuite and everything was very clean.
This place is great value for money and would stay there again.
Recommended!

Good, clean cheap accommodation
An excellent place to stay, the welcome was friendly, the staff were very helpful, the room was clean and tidy and the optional evening meal was superb. My only complaint is that a room that is located right by the front door and reception can be a little noisy, but that is more due to the consideration of the other guests than the B&B. I would stay there again.

Excellent small friendly guest house, very clean, nicely decorated, not as spartan as the surrounding hotels etc. Nice pub down the road - 5 mins walk.
Will definitely stay there again (if possible) when I need to stay near Gatwick

An unexpected find.
When I booked a room at 29GBP, I was expecting a less than stellar experience. I only needed a room for one night since I had such an early flight from Gatwick. What I found greatly exceeded my expectations. The hotel has its own mini cab, and for 18 pounds, I was picked up and taken back to Gatwick. The accommodation was pleasant. The staff consist of one family. I literally felt as though I was staying with a family in their home. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. And the food was amazing, just like Italian home cooking. I highly recommend this establishment and will stay there again if I ever need to in the future.

Overnighter for Gatwick airport
We were only at hotel for one night. We woke early and due to poor weather decided to leave early for the airport, foregoing cooked breakfast. Host was very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Bit of dust and cobwebs but cleaning standard OK. Only negative was that it was minus degrees on arrival at 4pm and the central heating was not due on until 7pm. The lounge and bedroom were heated with 2kw convectors. Had the place been heated on arrival it would have been much better. But would stay again. Well priced and well placed for Gatwick. On site parking and transfers to airport all part of the package.

what a find close to gatwick small friendly, owner text to ask when arrived i had 1 night here and the accomadtion was in the cottage double bed, and single in room tv room kitchen bathroom i did not need breakfast as only need to sleep here idea for flights to gatwick airport and a good price for area

Who stayed in May 2009
A country gem only 5 mins from Gatwick Airport
I was delighted to find this B and B to fulfill my needs when my accomodation plans were suddenly changed. The host very graciously waited up until 12.30 am for my late check-in and took time to explain about the self serve breakfast and other facilities before I retired to bed, as I was leaving before 6.00 am the next morning. The room was clean, well decorated, warm and inviting. The bed had good linen and the ensuite shower room was nicely presented. The whole country atmosphere was peaceful despite being so close to Gatwick. With the detailed directions it was easy to find. I didn't use the transportation service offered this time but ay well do in the future as it is an excellent feature. An indication of the care taken by the hosts is that they left out a hairdryer in plain view for my use next morning should I need it. Considering the late hour of my check-in I found this very touching. I would most certainly stay there again and took several cards to give to my friends as I would have no hesitation recommending this family run establishment to them.

this delightfull , clean friendly accomodation is an oasis amongst the creepy expensive hotels which treat people like product........... Its a relief to find somewhere so cosy and friends... and Clean.......... even if its only for a night....... delighted to find it..........

What a great find!
A lovely hotel/ guest house near Crawley i picked the Da Vinci due to its great price & location to Crawley town centre, & was so glad i did, the owner & his family were very help full & polite, I had a lovely bright cheerfull clean room witch was very comftable, I would of liked a kettle in the room but a guest lounge is open with these facilities where you can help yourself, I was provided with a hot drink on my arrival, & in the morning i crept down stairs to have a smoke & (i think its the owners son) brought me out a coffee at 6am!! Cant ask for any better than that.

All excellent from the very start. The saff very freindly and helpfull, showed us round the guest house , all seemed cared for properly , very clean and comfortable all round. Nice larrge guest lounge with free tea and coffee facilities, nice back garden. bedrooms were well made up, clean and comfortable. also enjoyed very nice home made evening meals. We will certainly recomend Da vinci manor and for sure will return and stay again.
